Purchase VPP licenses for necessary apps (iMovie, Pages, Keynote, Notability)
Upgrade computers to Lion (OS X 10.7)
Load only Paid apps on teacher iPads (future - we could do this with MDM) - they can install other apps
Do not supervise teacher iPads
Suggest that they create an iTunes account for their professional app purchasing
Have teachers purchase iBooks Author for computers - start learning in case they want to create their own books
Give gift cards to teachers - not necessary at present
Start of school year - iPads in 21st century literacy classes only - distribute remainder in November

Some teachers took iPad class (Eduspire) over the summer or during the school year
Instructional technology specialists ran sessions for iPad teachers - during in-service day, during collaboration time
Apps and Appetizers session after school
Instructional technology specialist available to help in class or plan lessons
Have consistent procedure for teachers to follow when iPads are lost / damaged
